Setting a goal is not the main thing. It is deciding how you will go about achieving it and staying with the plan.

An emotionally intelligent leader - utilizing a combination of collaborative and coaching styles.

Thorough understanding of advanced water treatment systems and processes. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

Solid reputation for providing significant contributions towards the management and delivery of training programs and personnel development.  Effectively managed in-depth water treatment training programs for both KBR and Fluor.  This was accomplished through training sessions in a classroom environment as well as field site visits throughout Iraq and Afghanistan in an active war zone.

Experienced in creating, implementing, and maintaining both countrywide and field level policies, procedures, processes, and programs.

Exceptionally well qualified in conducting audits and assessments - providing technical advice, data interpretation, and meaningful process improvement.

Successfully managed multiple on-going project with competing priorities.

Strong mechanical ability with safety and quality always a priority.

Adaptable to working in austere and hostile environments with minimal amenities, personnel, equipment and logistical support.  I have worked more than 9 years in Iraq, Kuwait and Afghanistan, living in everything from conexs and pre-fab containers (single, two, and three man occupancy) to tents (10, 20 and 100+ man occupancy).

Severe climate environment - worked in temperatures from below 0°F to 130°F+ during typical 84 hour work weeks (12 hour work days x 7 days) and up to 8 months on site without a break due to mission requirements (typical work cycle is 3-4 months on, 2-3 weeks off).

Over the last 9 years, I have traveled extensively in hostile environments in up-armored SUVs, Rhino Runners, Strykers, MRAPS, HMMWVS, as well as military aircraft (UH-60s, CH-46s, CH-47s, MV-22s, C-130s, C-17s) and civilian contracted charter aircraft.

I have managed and trained personnel from many different countries and cultures from the site level up to the Theater/Country management level.  I have successfully worked as a water quality laboratory technician up to Manager/Water-SME at the Theater/Country level.

I have worked with many internal departments (QA/QC, Operations, Site management, trades departments, etc.) as well as external customers and clients (U.S. and Coalition forces, ISAF forces, NATO forces, U.S. Army Preventive Medicine, QAR, COTR, DCMA, and other military contractors).

I've worked with some real characters in LOGCAP!  Here's my former manager who now does some TV appearances as the Chicken Man!  It is good to see he has found his calling selling chicken!

Check it out...     And now I present, former AO Water Manager - the Chicken Man!

The Chicken Man!

The Chicken Man!
